18/MST/PC looking for some chill people to hang out and play games with!
Hello! I'm looking for some people to play games and hang out with. Now I play an assortment of games but ill get to that in a minute.First I would prefer if you were around my age 16-19 and within a couple of hours of MST for convenience, but the timezone/region can be whatever because of my sleep schedule when I don't work. I'm also looking for people who are willing to message each other. I also would prefer if you had a mic because it makes communicating a lot easier.
Now on about myself, I enjoy lots of anime and have seen enough to where I can have long conversations (a little too much lol). I've seen A LOT of it so I would be down to watch or even rewatch some. I like a lot of genres of games such as Fps, survival, space,rogue-like, automation etc. I'm a night owl when I don't work so ill be on almost the whole day. I also can have a dark sense of humour at times and don't mind if you have one as well.

I'm also down to just be on a call and talk while we play different games or if you want to vent about your day.

Hey Prospectors!
I recently finished making a Twitch Chat bot for the Cycle Frontier! As of right now it should be up to date with information based on Season 2. With this chat bot both viewers and streamers can have quick access to weapon, armor, item, and creature stats as well as instant access to item sale prices to traders and how much of an item you will need over the course of the season. This all may have to be tweaked with the release of season 3 but for now it still needs some testing, and I would love to get some feedback on the bot and what to change about it.

The bot is currently live on my Twitch Channel at all times, whether I am streaming or not if anyone wants to try it out. (Franky Storms on Twitch)
HOW TO GET ACCESS:
I did not want to spend any money making a website for the bot since I have no plans to make any money on the bot. Its free and will stay free. In order to get access to use the bot on your Twitch Channel there is an applications channel in my discord server linked here https://discord.gg/sTyCZrJ6GQ . Once you join the server and verify you're a human by reacting to the rules role message, you can scroll down to the TCFB0T category, click on applications, and post a screenshot of your Twitch username on Twitch. This is so there is proof that you are on Twitch and so I can easily spell it when adding you to the access list.
If there are any problems with the bot there is a bugs and issues channel to post any problems or suggestions.
For any updates to the bot there is a patches and updates channel for that information.
More importantly there is a channel for how to use the bot with a description on how it works, I will also put that information here.
TCFBOT TCFBOT is an asynchronous Twitch chat bot based on python. This bot has all of the cycle frontier information you could ever want. This includes quest, item, and creature info as well as weapon stats and trader pricing for most items. This gives you and your viewers instant access to TONS of information about The Cycle: Frontier without needing to go to any of the out of date wikis and websites that have, unfortunately, fallen behind. To apply for access to use TCFBOT please put your full twitch name in the applications channel below and I will personally add your name to the list of users. YOU WILL NEED TO MOD TCFBOT IN ORDER FOR THE BOT TO WORK CORRECTLY. Thank you.
Commands and how to use them.
All commands for this bot have the prefix “!”
Quests: All quest commands must use the full name and part number without any punctuation.
Example: Time For More Work Part 1 = !timeformoreworkpart1
Eventually all quests will have shorthand options to either leave out the word part or only put in the first letter of each word I.e. Time For More Work Part 1 = !tfmw1
Items: All item commands use the full item name in the command without any punctuation.
Example: Hardened Metals = !hardenedmetals
Creatures: All creature commands are simply the name of the creature without any punctuation prefixed by an !.
Example: Alpha Crusher = !alphacrusher
Consumables: These work the same as any other item command.
Example: Weak Med Kit = !weakmedkit
Weapons: Second verse, same as the first! Full item name with no punctuation.
Example: K-28 Pistol = !k28pistol or !k28
I am NOT a software engineer by any means and I had to learn some very basic python programming to be able to make this. This means that if anyone has any really good suggestions that significantly alter the code of the bot, it may take a while for me to figure it out lol.

I am playing on mac, i re-downloaded terraria yesterday to see the changes etc
I switched to a mac and this is my first time playing terraria on it
So i make a world, play and stuff without problem but then remember about the new tmod loader and download that as well. After struggling quite a bit because of the glitches like only a portion of the screen loading or weird resolutions, i finally download a mod and try to upload my character, which doesn't work. I upload a character with the same name and a paranthesis after the name(i can't remember what was written inside the paranthesis). This character is just the basic model and character though, not having any modifications, armor and the like for some reason. Still, i couldn't play with him for some reason so i created a new character instead and... well i wasn't able to play with my world either. It showed up but instead of its actual name, it had an id-esque name with tons of letters and numbers and also a grayish background.
Deleting didn't work, deleting the tmod loader did not work, restarting my pc did not work either. I can still play with the world and the characters fine on vanilla terraria by the way.

Not sure, but it looks like moderators are not responsive. Sticky requests are all ignored and the wiki has not been updated for 2 years. Would like to take over moderation or be added as mod to help keep things in order.

this view that "I can't play without a wiki" is very common.. in communities of stardew valley, terraria and factorio. maybe other games that i don't know about too.
😓 people just can't relax and enjoy the game any more. they have to do everything most effectively, optimize everything, find every secret, ...
actually there's nothing wrong with optimizing and finding every secret... if you do it by yourself! but if you found every secret by looking it up on the wiki.. what did you accomplish lolol??? do you feel proud of yourself? 🤔
😥 sad when these people blame the developers for this.. like "how am i supposed to know X??". well, usually, just by exploring the world of the game.. then, there are also some things that you just aren't supposed to know!!
i think the game is more immersive if it says "this item makes you more lucky" rather than just "increases luck by 4.3%".
then there's also many youtube videos on "how to start game X the right way". 🥺. this is so sad omg. they are usually geared towards beginners, aand consist of "advice" like "always use X, throw away Y. it's been statistically calculated that using X you will generate 3.9% more profit", "when you reach level X, always choose this perk!!", etc.
another cringe is with fallout.. where people research every choice or even just every dialog option in advance using the wiki, and then make this choice/dialog according to this...
people are just.. totally scared of "failure" (not even failure - just not getting the max possible amount of xp and things like that).

Yo whats up, as it states I am hard looking for someone who is a gamer or likes gaming as much as I do, preferably in the US and somewhat close to age. Note before about myself I am not looking for friends and I would like to start causally into long term if things go well.
My main thing is well gaming, I am found of playing survival games like MC (modded), Terraria and gachas on the side of my main games which are FF14 and D2. I do also chat and hang out online a lot with my friends on DC daily. Passionate about Game Design and listening to my music, fav genera are House types (fast pace), Electro, J-Rock/J types and honestly if its got a good beat I will like it XD. Outside of gaming I would say I am very Introverted person keeping to myself and normally don't like to be outgoing at all I prefer to be indoors but with a few exceptions haha. If your interested lets chat and see where things go!
