Some of the plasmids range from “mildly useful “ to “why was this made and why didn’t Ryan have the person who did it shot?” At least for the time period we’re everyone was smoking nonstop I can see why a flame at the snap of your fingers would be seen as useful, but it’s pretty much a inevitably that someone is gonna light someone on fire with it. And that’s not even getting into the ones that screw with security in rapture, which I’m pretty sure if Ryan ever found out about those plasmids he’d have a mild case of loosing his mind and a new use for his golf club. Why were the crazy plasmids allowed to be made?

An aide to former President Donald Trump has been indicted in special counsel Jack Smith’s investigation into the mishandling of classified documents from the Trump White House.
Walt Nauta’s indictment is the second in the special counsel’s investigation. Trump has been indicted on 37 counts, which include charges relating to the willful retention of national defense information, according to the indictment, which was unsealed on Friday.
Nauta faces six counts, including several obstruction- and concealment-related charges stemming from the alleged conduct.
Prosecutors allege that Nauta lied to investigators when he was interviewed by the FBI in May 2022, according to the indictment. He allegedly falsely said he was not aware of boxes being brought to Trump’s residence for his review before Trump provided 15 boxes to the National Archives in 2022.
But Nauta himself had helped move boxes from the storage room to Trump’s residence, according to the indictment.
“When asked whether he knew where Trump’s boxes had been stored, before they were in Trump’s residence and whether they had been in a secure or locked location, Nauta falsely responded, ‘I wish, I wish I could tell you. I don’t know. I don’t – I honestly just don’t know,’” the indictment states.
The indictment states that between November 2021 and January 2022, Nauta and another Trump employee brought boxes from the Mar-a-Lago storage room to Trump’s residence at the former president’s direction.
“Nauta did in fact know that the boxes in Pine Hall had come from the Storage Room, as Nauta himself, with the assistance of Trump Employee 2, had moved the boxes from the Storage Room to Pine Hall; and Nauta had observed the boxes in and moved them to various locations at The Mar-a-Lago Club,” the indictment states.
An attorney for Nauta declined to comment earlier Friday. Nauta was with Trump at his Bedminster, New Jersey, golf club this week.
Trump responded to Nauta’s indictment on his social media Friday, writing, “They are trying to destroy his life, like the lives of so many others, hoping that he will say bad things about ‘Trump.’ He is strong, brave, and a Great Patriot. The FBI and DOJ are CORRUPT!”
Nauta’s involvement in the movement of boxes of classified material at Trump’s Florida resort had been a subject of scrutiny of investigators. Nauta, with the help of a maintenance worker at Mar-a-Lago, moved the boxes before the FBI executed a search warrant on the Palm Beach property last August.
According to court filings last year, the FBI found more than 100 documents marked as classified during the search, which took place weeks after a Trump lawyer signed a statement attesting that the Trump team had complied with a May subpoena seeking production of all documents with classified markings.
Investigators obtained surveillance footage showing Nauta and the worker moving boxes of the classified documents around the resort, CNN previously reported. Nauta had spoken to investigators repeatedly in the probe, at first telling them he hadn’t handled boxes or sensitive documents at Mar-a-Lago.
Once the surveillance footage was turned over, however, Nauta changed his story, CNN previously reported, and, after changing attorneys, the aide stopped talking to investigators all together last fall.
The Wall Street Journal first reported Nauta’s indictment.

Hey all you discers! I teach 7-12th grade, and I've started a disc golf club for those same grade levels. I play MA2 and am rated slightly above 900, so I have a good grasp of the rules and have decent form. However I want to help the kids as well as I can, so I need some advice for what kind of drills I can do with them to help teach them the basics. I'm also a little at a loss as for what to do during the off season. Maybe an indoor putting league? Not sure what else I can do inside.
I also get to design a 9 hole course on the high school property, which has some awesome wooded portions and open fields.

So. I guess this hits on a lot of the talking points I keep seeing on here that are misinformed or false.
From Axios
The 49-page indictment includes 37 felony counts against Trump related to retaining classified information and obstruction of justice.
The indictment says that during his presidency, Trump collected notes, photos, letters, and other official records, and stored them in boxes.
Among those records were "hundreds of classified documents," the indictment says, that "included information regarding defense and weapons capabilities of both the United States and foreign countries; United States nuclear programs; potential vulnerabilities of the United States and its allies to military attack; and plans for possible retaliation in response to a foreign attack.”
When Trump left the White House, "scores of boxes, many of which contained classified documents," were transported to his home at Mar-a-Lago in Florida.
The boxes with classified documents were stored “in various locations” at Mar-a-Lago, per the indictment, including “in a ballroom, a bathroom and shower, an office space, his bedroom, and a storage room.”
Details: The indictment includes 31 separate counts of willful retention of national defense information under the Espionage Act.
The indictment says Trump showed classified documents to others two different times in 2021, including at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, N.J., when he shared the documents with “a writer, a publisher, and two members of his staff, none of whom possessed a security clearance.”
“Trump showed and described a ‘plan of attack’ that Trump said was prepared for him by the Department of Defense and a senior military official,” the indictment reads.
Walt Nauta, an aide to Trump, is named as a co-conspirator in the indictment.
Both Nauta and Trump face one count of conspiracy to obstruct justice.
“The purpose of the conspiracy was for [Trump] to keep classified documents he has taken with him from the White House and to hide and conceal them from a federal grand jury,” according to the indictment.

Given the above information. That contradicts a number of right wing talking points, Including what Mr. Levin ranted about, what would it take for the narrative to turn? Like… I’m no fan of Joe Biden. He should be prosecuted and indicted as well. Sadly the Trump administration made it precedent that sitting presidents can’t be indicted and I’m somewhat glad because I would hate a president Harris even more. So please don’t do the whataboutism… I feel like there is a sunk cost fallacy on the right after years of supporting this grifting showman who has skirted the law on so many occasions. When I see fox put forward these types of rants all I can think is “oh the company who was just sued for nearly a billion dollars for lying? Why should I trust them or anything further right for any information?”
What is the problem with law and order? Why do so many on here defend this guy? He’s not worth it… is there a fear that he’ll take everyone down with him destroying the GOP? Is there a fear that you have been lied to for years and bought it? Like… I don’t get the defense of this guy or the argument it’s politically motivated. I feel like DOJ and FBI gave trump incredibly leniency when asking him to return documents… they did everything they could to not subpoena him. Then to give him chance after chance to come forward… he fought everything and claimed he declassified the documents the FBI planted at his residence. I have seen goalpost after goalpost moved for this guy why? You don’t have to carry water for him?
How do you honestly think history will regard this moment? I consider myself a bull moose progressive. Idealizing what the conservative movement of yesteryear represented. Since my first ballot cast in 2000 I no longer see anything but anger (see above video) and misinformation and parroting. Please… how will this moment be remembered?

I'm curious to if any of those who support Trump here, or know someone that does, is hearing opinions change given the new indictment or if it's the same old song of "it's a witch hunt"?

Obviously he's innocent until proven guilty, but unless these prosecutors have a death wish, I would assume they have a more than solid case against Trump.

The previously reported story is confirmed in this indictment where, at Bedminster Golf Club, Trump showed and described a "plan of attack" to people who did not possess appropriate security clearance. It is further revealed that later in 2021, also at Bedminster, Trump showed a representative of his PAC a map related to a military operation.This seems like a serious case, although obviously the indictment was just unsealed so all of the details are not yet clear.

I don't have a lot of experience or knowledge about credit cards. My parents have never had any credit cards (they also don't trust banks). My credit history only consists of the Capital One platinum credit card that I have a 2% utilization of currently (not completely sure what that means). I used to use the card regularly on eBay for large purchases for my parents but I always pay it off monthly 100%. I had a medical bill that went to collections about 6 years ago but that no longer shows on my credit report.
I also might have just made a stupid mistake by applying the the Capital One SavorOne card as it said I was pre-approved. I also thought since I have an ok savings and checking account with them it would increase the likelihood of my approval. They denied me. Not sure where to go from here.

Every time my buddies talk about a golf trip, it’s Pebble Beach, or Kiawah, or Pinehurst, or [insert big name, $500/round golf course]. Went to Ireland and played some iconic courses there. They were pretty cool, views were amazing but the weather was ass, and it was impossible to enjoy the golf sometimes. It sucks the fun out of it for me when you have to book a tee time a year in advance, and then pay a shit load for what ends up being a nice golf course, but mostly just a brand name.
One of my favorite things is finding courses that aren’t brand names, but are just as nice. There are bound to be so many flying under the radar.
Two such courses I’ve played:
1) Balsam Mountain Preserve - Near Asheville, NC. I think it’s fully private now unfortunately, but holy shit. It’s up in the Smokey Mountains, built all along the mountainside. It was immaculate, like easily PGA Tour quality. Crazy elevations, unreal views.
2) Highland Meadows - Windsor, CO. Stumbled across it one summer while I had a couple of days off work. Let me walk on and didn’t charge me for rental clubs either day. It was like $40 which was crazy for the course you got. Really lush conditions, beautiful houses all around. Some parts run along a wildlife area, and plenty of nice views.
Just wondering what your hidden gem courses are, and why?

2023.06.09 20:43 Darksuprising Should i get new clubs?

Beginner golfer. I've been to the range a hand full of times over the last few years, however, I'm starting to take golf more seriously. I'm trying to play at least 9 holes once a week.
my driver is fine but I'm struggling with my irons and wedges. my clubs were given to me by my father, he got them back in the early 90s they are the original Callaway big bertha.
would getting a new set help my game? Should I stick with these until I'm under 45-48 for 9 holes?
