This is a follow-up of my last post here.
I did consider and try various methods to attach her swim ring, in a displayable way. But there were a few problems:

This goddess loves to lean. I thought it would be a matter of months, but actually it happens within just a few hours. After 24 hours, she would topple over.
Her swim ring was too heavy for blue tac/whatever temporary adhesive I could find, and the rough texture of her shorts made it hard for advesives stick. After a few days, it'll give way.
Using an action-figure stand started to feel like the only way, but I believe that anime figures are meant to be viewed from lots of angles. So I didn't like the idea of having too many visible changes made.

So I tried using thin nylon thread/fishing line with an thin (3mm?) acrylic pole. I got inspiration from another Redditor, who posed his action figures with nylon thread. The effect impressed me.
I bound the swim ring to her arm, and her arm to her torso. I bound the swim ring too, as I realized that the arm/the nyon thread I used wasn't strong enough to prevent the arm from lifting up. I taped down the nylon thread on the swim ring, so that it would stay in place.
The arcrylic pole was stuck to part of a wall plug, to give it a base. I was initially reluctant to, but I had to super-glue the pole to the base because her leaning was too strong for the mounting tape I could find.
Here are some photographs, after 10 months of display. I did not really have to adjust anything, so I think the leaning problem was fixed for me. Depending on how you see swimsuits, the pictures may be NSFW. I hope this information will be useful for someone.

Hi from K'lona Kay-virtue [Twintania] ! Starting to consider doing ALL relics ? Might wanna read the following ;-) This guide is not meant to be a thorough relic guide, just some minmaxing tips you may find useful ! Nothing new, nothing amazing, just a compilation of everything I learned along the way.
TL;DR : 1) you can do a lot less unsync dungeons than it seems for ARR relics. 2) doing each step for ALL jobs before starting the next step is much more efficient than doing one complete relic at a time. 3) keep all steps active at all times for ShB relics (passive grind). 4) never farm Poetics / GC Seals. Make a shopping list of all you need, and use that list as a currency dump. Bozja/Eureka/Hunts/Roulettes will give you more than you'll ever need. 5) get your jobs to 90 before working on ARHW relics, for easier solo unsyncs
=== THE REFERENCE === MUST READ FOR THIS GUIDE TO MAKE SENSE. Advice : do one full relic of each (ARHW/ShB) to unlock everything and understand how each step works. The following guide assumes you already have a good understanding of the various relic grinds and are looking to get'em all, aiming at an efficient way.
=== THE SPREADSHEET === Simply adapted the spreadsheet I use for my own grind, might have some mistakes here and there... Might update/correct/complete it over time, but let's be honest - probably won't. Make your own copy and do your worst. Note : there are cute relic trackers out there if you like, but I prefer the ability to take notes as I go for the next relic/step...
=== ARR RELICS REQUIREMENTS / HIGHLY ADVISED ===

Complete ONE full ARR relic (to unlock the 4 repeatables of step 7 "Zodiac Braves")
Have your relic jobs at lvl90 or close enough (why make it more painful...)
Wait until you have in store all the stuff from Poetics / GC Seals / Gil for all jobs before starting a step

=== ARR RELICS STEPS OVERVIEW === TL;DR : prepare for a painful grind, and rejoice, you don't have to do it "back in the day"

Step 1 "Zodiac" : just do it (you could technically batch the Primals Hard with the end of HW relics, but the gain is not worth the pain)
Step 2 "Zenith" : takes 3min for ALL jobs
Step 3 "Atma" : highly painful... highly advised to farm all the atmas for ALL jobs on a job you find comfy for FATE spamming (I did it on BRD because ranged & no cast times). Make a list of zones/atmas, farm FATEs in a zone until you have exhausted them, move to another zone, rinse & repeat until you have all the atmas for all jobs. (Strategy for ppl mostly AFK, typically working with the game in background : since failed FATEs can drop atmas -I didn't verify this info myself, never got an atma this way-, you can tag all FATEs in the zone by killing one mob, then go AFK till their timer runs out. Won't work on "boss only" FATEs)
Step 4 "Animus" : the book hell. worst step of all relics all expansions. described in detail below.
Step 5 "Novus" : do Mysterious Maps as your Poetics dump until you get enough Alexandrite for all jobs. Any job any weapon, should be able to one-shot AoE all the mobs (fun fact : for me, the mysterious maps mobs were untargetable, I used WAR AoEs as a workaround...). For the materias, obviously go for the cheapest I & II you can find on the MarketBoard.
Step 6 "Nexus" : Aurum Vale is the common spam for Light grind (just have to kill the bosses & the 3 big morbols to open doors, otherwise just keep running & ignore mobs). Yet I would advise Navel (Extreme) : close in time efficiency and most importantly totally lazy (just avoid one landslide, otherwise spam buttons till done). Obviously if the current bonus instance is time efficient, go for it !
Step 7 "Braves" : almost entirely skipped. described in detail below.
Step 8 "Zeta" : another Light grind. same advice as step 6 ("steady" light dungeons on bonus give a one-shot full mahatma, though)

=== ARR Step 4 (BOOKS) & Step 7 (REPEATABLES) === TL;DR : sorry, but you're gonna have to read this (it's the biggest time saver) /!\ First of all, prepare all the hand-in thingies for the Step 7 repeatables for all jobs. This will require a lot of Poetics / GC Seals / Gil... So, multiply the list in THE REFERENCE by as many relics as you still need. /!\ Since the leves are not always available, a good strategy to ensure you almost always have access to the one you need is to keep most of them already picked up in your levequest journal (you can have 16 active at the same time, I always keep 15 already picked up while doing books : 4 of the levemete in North Thanalan, 2 of the levemetes in Mor Dhona / Coerthas Central, 1 of each GC leves in Mor Dhona / Coerthas Central is a good base setup) Then, you will be doing your books (check out this helpful post) for Step 4 in a specific order to also grind the Step 7 repeatables at the same time (and start a HW relic Step 2 if you're so inclined) :

=== HW RELICS STEPS OVERVIEW === TL;DR : make a list of Poetics/GC stuff, and use it as your currency overcap dump

Step 1 "Animated" : The FATE pain. Pro tip : do them on BLU with a FATE spell setup (the idea & a full spellset). And have ShB relic Step 2 (Tortured/Sorrowful/Harrowing Memories) active while grinding this step !**
Step 2 "Awoken" : 10 unsync dungeons (first 3 dungeons overlap the end of the ARR relic grind above).
Steps 3-6 : pure Poetics/GC/Scrips grind. Make a list of everything needed and grind it all over time. Eureka/Bozja leveling/grinding is a good way to rack up all the Poetics required. Not advised to grind Poetics or GC Seals specifically, just use those steps to uncap them over time.
Step 7-8 : Light grind unsync. Party Finder : spam A9S in party of 4+ ppl, and stay together to also do the 13 trials of Step 8 afterwards (have your Pneumite & Archaic Enchanted Ink ready).

=== SB RELICS : Eureka, a world of its own === TL;DR : SB relics are a different world altogether. Just go live in Eureka. Not discussed here, as those relics have no interaction with the other grinds, except for the fact that you will rack up a shitload of Poetics that you will uncap on HW relics and whatnot whenever you happen to miraculously get out of Eureka.
=== ShB RELICS : keep the quests rolling ! === TL;DR : make sure all steps are active at all times for a semi-passive grind. /!\ General advice : do the 2 weekly quests in Gangos. Will slowly force you into grinding the Castrum/DDalriada stuff. Will reward you with coins for the Relic Armors (if you're doing the weapons, why not go all the way and get all armors...) /!\ Advice before hard grinding anything in Bozja zones : get at least your 10 rays of Valor (DPS perma-buff). Easily acquired by spamming Zadnor z3 FATEs & Zadnor CEs. Therefore, unless forced by the game, it's better to complete the Bozja questline before spamming anything for relics.

Step 1 "Resistance" : Poetics
Step 2 "Aug. v1" : FATE/Bozja pain. First of all, you should grind a big bunch of Memories while working on HW relics Step 1 (see above), provided you have this ShB relic step active... Then, the most efficient way to farm them is Bozja Cluster Farming ideally in a party of 8.
Step 3 "Recollection" : passively acquired over time through Leveling Roulettes or Bozja activities
Step 4 "Law's Order" : passively acquired over time through Alliance Roulette (remove most of your gear before queuing to ensure getting a Crystal Tower raid). Do your weekly quest (Castrum + Dalriada) in Gangos. Otherwise, just grind your achievement for 50x Castrum Lacus Litore.
Step 5 "Aug. v2" : do your weekly quest in Gangos (Delubrum Reginae), and go get your PotD mount (4 clears) + your solo clear of PotD, Necromancer :gigachad:. For DR(normal), join/make a PF of 8ppl requiring dps Actions+Essences for quicker runs. Go get your Cerberus mount in DR(savage) while you're at it, you'll come back with a better understanding on how to use Actions/Essences and breeze through your DR(normal) relic grind.
Step 6 "Blade's" : Do your weekly quest (Castrum + Dalriada) in Gangos. Get your HoH mount (4 clears) + your solo clear of HoH, Lone Hero :gigachad:. Otherwise, just grind your achievement for 50x Dalriada.

=== CrafteGatherer Relic Tools === Principles from this guide (doing a step on ALL jobs, then move on to next step) apply as well. But I trust self-respecting crafting nerds are already experts at planning their grinds... BTW, provided you got BiS pentamelded 6.3 crafter gear, I shared some cool macros for the Skybuilders & Resplendent expert crafts : check "community rotations" here.
=== CONCLUSION === Definitely not advised to "start farming ALL relics" by following the quests like a headless chicken, without planning for the long term. Definitely shouldn't ever "farm Poetics" (everything drops Poetics) or "farm GC Seals" (Expert Deliveries ffs), they'll come to you over time. Lastly, if you're already far enough in the game to even think about "farming ALL relics", you may also want to check the entire achievement list first, you might find chieves you could grind while working on the relics ;-) (doesn't hurt to kill that B-rank right next to that book target, does it ?)

So recently started using party finder to grind the ex bosses. Some mechanics you still have to watch for but its way easier considering how high ilevel is and being level capped lol. I finally got my first mount from that expansion and on the quest for the rest lol

( The last major time was when a site Markee Dragon supported threw in the towel. ) I mean, they have a point. What good is an API that has to tamper and obfuscate any data? What about the costs of those who have made Shroud's community anything for Portnip to boast about from the life-support the community provides?
At least it isn't one of the "honeypots" that weren't given logging or alerts, as if they were intended to be used without anyone knowing, so that it took Chris several hours to figure out whether they were used more than once. That's probably the main reason why Shroud is free from all the usual economy problems most MMOs face, like botters or gold-sellers, because there isn't anything of an economy here. Well, not anymore.
But somehow API data for fishing is an exploit, and so Portnip must tamper with the API results.
Could be worse... could be Chris' old vague blue blob charts on Twitter. 😂

There was multiple reason for the time to be offset, people could track other in real time. I don't think that was the point of the API. The API was build so player could make leaderboards and track certain limited events.
When we think about rare and artifact items our goal is to make them fun for treasure hunting. If people can spoil every location from an API and then provide the list of location in universe day 1, like it did for deco fish, i'm not sure it's really fun.
While its maybe fun for a few people to have access to everything, some other people would like things to be kept secret and rare so they can actually trade things at higher price or feel they have some power in the game by knowing certain location that other doesn't (yet). I don't know of any game out there that have an API like ours to track every item and things people can do in game directly from a database in real time. Usually its something made up in a wiki from player and it take times before it get filled up, leaving treasure hunter some fun for them.
I think the API provide a ton of information already, hiding the few things that could turn out to be a game changer for people is a must. I'm also going to hide anything treasure map related, the treasure map location need to stay secret (eventually, people will still write the whole list somewhere and that's okay. But i want that time lapse to happen.).

What's a WoWHead? What's a WHO, /who, #LOC $? What's a... FFS, this clownshow is going to act like this stuff is new? Despite DB sites and data miners, particular Blizzard devs have figured out how to keep things hidden and mysterious, like all the breadcrumb mystery trail mounts and the often very complicated ways to get them. Talk about being under a rock by a measure of years.
Dude, devs play with their data miners now, catch up. But hey, at least it's good that you learned variable scope to undo those mount bugs, right? ❤

Hello everyone!
My friends and I are planing to travel from 26th of August to the 10th of September to Japan. We are all experiencing Japan for the first time and would appreciate your advice and feedback a lot. The only thing booked is the date and flight, so a lot can still be moved around. We are aware that there will be a high chance of rain and some risk of typhoons.
We are all in our early to mid 20s, would like to see and eat as much as possible that Japan has to offer.
Much of our plan so far are ideas that will be trimmed down if there has been put to much. JR Pass for 14 days shoud be worth it from what the calculator states.
Are there any festivals or fireworks in that timeframe? And if you think there is something we should not miss please tell us!
August 27th - Tokyo

Arrive at Narita Airport at around 9am
Activate JR Pass, get mobile Wi-Fi and IC Card
Visit an observation deck to see the never-ending city of Tokyo
Eat and rest

August 28th - Hakone

Get up early and travel to Hakone
Take the Hakone Round Trip
Store luggage in lockers so we can travel light
Relax at a Ryokan pref. with an Onsen (is an Onsen in summer actually that smart?)

August 29th - Kyoto

Travel to Kyoto
Check in at accommodation
Explore Northern Kyoto (Kinkakuji, Ryoanji, Ninnaji)

August 30th - Kyoto

Explore Eastern Kyoto (Ginkakuji, Philosopher's Path, Nanzenji, Kaege Incline, Heian Shrine, Yasaka Shrine, Kodaiji Temple, Higashiyama Streets, Kiyomizudera)

Hello X-Pro 3 users/owners. I am here to ask for your help. I currently own Leica M11 with Summilux 28mm and 50mm f/1.4 lenses. It's a quite expensive setup, which I do not feel comfortable logging around to each corner of the world. I have been thinking of replacing it with a Fujifilm camera, and X-Pro 3 seems to be the closes choice.
Before you recommend X100V, I tried fixed lenses before (with Leica Q2) and I did not enjoy it. I do zone focusing (hyperfocal) with 28mm (or 35mm, close enough but I prefer wider 28mm), and then manual focusing with 50mm. I know one can crop, and resolution these days is plentiful, but I still think there is a difference in out of focus areas (bokeh) and DoF, hence the need for two lenses.
I am not a stickler for image quality, sharpness, microcontrast, all of these are just excuses for me, since I suck at photography. I realise that now (I wish I had known that earlier, wouldn't jump all the way to Leica perhaps). Every picture my family/friends liked/admired, were because of photography fundamentals (story telling, composition, candid moment, clever cliche, etc), never sharpness or even bokeh.
So, I am after a camera that gives me very manual experience and here are things I would like to have:

Optical View Finder - for framing I prefer OVF during good lighting, and use EVF when low-light (I have Visoflex 2, external EVF for Leica that you mount on top).
Manual focusing - for wide angle lenses I use zone focusing, so can shoot from my hip, but for 50mm I use Leica's rangefinder patch, which works well enough at f/2-f/8, but not at f/1.4 (DoF is too shallow), or in low light - there I need EVF.
Manual Aperture ring, SS, and ISO - I like to set them manually, or at least anchor two of them, and perhaps keep one on Auto.

Looking at X-Pro 3, it seems that it has OVF with frame lines, EVF in the small corner if I need to do critical focusing, or full on EVF for low light. It does not have range focusing patch, so my first question is for those who tried both, do you prefer range focusing, or manual focusing with the OVF + EVF patch?
My second question is lenses - I know I can adapt my Leica lenses, via an adapter, to have fully manual lens experience. But is there any native Fujifilm lens, that has manual focusing (not by wire), or at least (if by wire), one that works well with zone focusing (markers on the lens, like the new Hasselblad X2D?).
As you can see, I am less interested in the fact that it is a crop sensor (I do not perceive it as a negative), nor what the low light performance is - I used to own Q2M, as well as M10M (waiting for M11M now).
Lastly, I actually like the idea of the hidden screen. With M11, I always look at the picture, or get bogged down with checking sharpness, which is a bad habit I am trying to break. I even considered purchasing M10D, but those are made in limited numbers, and unless Leica comes up with M11D, I won't be getting it.
So in summary, those who compared/owned both Leica M rangefinder cameras, and Fuji X-Pro 3, how far is the "manual" shooting experience? And what lenses do you use? Native manual lenses (if they exist), or adapted manual Leica/Voigtlander, or Fuji AF lenses?
There is one more alternative, going with crop sensor camera brand Pixii from France, but there aren't many reviews. That would be also cheaper than Leica (but double the price of X-Pro 3), with a rangefinder, without a display. Interesting choice, but it would be too much of a risk, if ever wanted to resell.
