I mentioned to NMum that she often goes on her phone while we're in the middle of a conversation, and this doesn't feel good and makes me feel like what I have to say isn't worth listening to. I know this was a really stupid thing to do and absolutely a mistake. But I feel like you should be able to raise this with someone?
Of course she blew up: how can you be so cruel, do you think I'm a horrible mother, shouting screaming etc., interrupting me. I couldn't get a word in. She was inventing things I hadn't said. She also said "get some friends, I can't be your entire social life, I'm not going to give you more of my time, you're an adult". All I was saying was I feel hurt when she gets her phone out. I'm barely even home most days !!! I'm not even asking for anything here!
My father overheard and told me what I'm feeling is "objectively not true", "I need to seek therapy", "there must be another issue going on in your life, you're making this up, why don't you tell us the real problem". He does this clicking thing when I speak, like 'get a move on', talks over me, shuts me up. He says these horrible things then expects me to just take it. If I try to reply he shuts me down.
Brother is GC, he's 22 and gets tons of support/special treatment, he chose to move interstate and doesn't have to get a job because of all the money he gets from my parents and the government. He's extremely abusive and horrible - like actual jekyll/hyde monster. I mean huge trauma, violence, incidents with police, emotional abuse for the last decade. Manipulated and abused his two prior girlfriends so much, one of them developed a psychiatric disorder and the other started drinking. I'm not allowed to mention any of this, I get shut down and they call it "sibling rivalry".
I wish I could move out but just cannot do that right now. (You know I would if it were that simple.) I think I'm going to minimise contact as much as possible. They'll definitely use that against me, but it's the only way to protect myself. Reading this sub is helping a lot - it's just nice to hear from people who understand .

Hello all, I am 23 (male) about to turn 24 and have been out of high school for six years now. A lot of the people I used to talk to have fallen off but there is still a small handful of guys I speak to (about threeish). But the more time goes on, the further we grow apart, people are just busy with there individual lives. I also don't know if these people are for me anymore as I have grown fond of other interests and things. But I have no other friends, if I stop talking to them I am completely alone besides my family. I also am a very neurotic person and think that some of the guys/ people they are personally associated with don't even like me that much anyway. Which makes me want to run away to a new country and start a fresh where I can fully be the person I am today with no connections to my high school self who was a highly flawed, insecure, "cringe" and weird individual. I feel this need to prove I am not who I was in high school and I want to disconnect from everything high school related, so I am considering dropping my high school friends, is this a dumb move, am I just overreacting? Idk just some random thoughts from me but please share your experiences/thoughts even if they differ, thanks guys.

Q3 highlights The following section in italics is directly pulled from the Q3 press release: “In the third quarter of 2022, Nexters’ revenue increased by $10 million (or 8% year-over-year) and amounted to $125 million, driven primarily by a decrease of $56 million in change of deferred revenues during the third quarter of 2022 vs. the same period in the prior year, partially offset by a decrease in bookings in the amount of $47 million (or 31%) year-over-year. Platform commissions increased by 10% in the third quarter of 2022 compared with the same period in 2021, generally in line with the increase in revenues. Game operation costs increased by $6 million in the third quarter of 2022 mainly due to the increase in the scale of operations, costs of the subsidiaries acquired in the beginning of 2022 vs nil in 2021 and special costs related to the relocation of personnel in the third quarter of 2022. Selling and marketing expenses in the third quarter of 2022 decreased by $43 million, or 68% year-over-year, and amounted to $20 million. The decrease was mainly due to the massive scaling of the investments into new players in the third quarter of 2021 amplified by a substantial decrease in the marketing investments in the third quarter of 2022 driven by the general saturation of the market as well as the suspension of marketing activities in Russia and Belarus due to recent geopolitical events. General and administrative expenses increased by $9 million in the third quarter 2022 vs. the third quarter 2021. The increase was primarily driven by i) the loss on disposal of discontinued operations in the amount of $5 million in the third quarter of 2022 vs. nil in the third quarter of 2021; ii) expected credit losses associated with loans provided to equity associates in the amount of $2 million in the third quarter of 2022 vs. nil in the third quarter of 2021; and iii) special costs related to the relocation of personnel in the third quarter of 2022. As a result of the factors above, amplified by the share listing expense in the amount of $125 million recorded in the third quarter of 2021 vs. nil in the third quarter of 2022, net income in the third quarter of 2022 increased by $135 million and amounted to $31 million vs. a net loss of $104 million in the respective period of 2021, while Adjusted EBITDA amounted to $55 million, an increase of $41 million compared with the same period of 2021 due to the same factors, other than the impact of the share listing expense and the loss on disposal of the discontinued operations, which items are excluded from Adjusted EBITDA. Cash flows generated from operating activities amounted to $60 million in the third quarter of 2022, an increase of $9 million vs. the third quarter of 2021. Third quarter operational performance in comparison bookings Unlike the traditional console or PC gaming, where the peak of sales occurs after the launch of the game and then shrinks a lot, in the online mobile gaming market, the games are fluid and get updates each month/quarter if not on a weekly basis to engage customers and make them stay in the game longer. The Average bookings per paying user (ABBPU) is still high above 100$ mark and has seen a slight decline due to a reduction in spending on advertising (which benefitted the company by reducing their marketing costs & expenses) The share of advertisement sales as a percentage of total bookings decreased in the third quarter of 2022 to 4.6% compared to 5.9% in the respective period of 2021, a decrease of 1.3 p.p. mainly due to the general decline of the advertising market amplified by the fact that the advertisers’ preferences shifted to non-gaming advertising venues in the third quarter of 2022 vs. the same period in the prior year. 2021 was characterised by a relatively high investment in marketing, which led to high growth in MPUs. The decrease in the marketing investments for the majority of 2022 resulted in a corresponding decrease in MPUs in the third quarter of 2022, which reached 305 thousand in the third quarter of 2022 vs. 371 thousand in the respective period of 2021, a decline of 18%. I'm struggling a lot to make gold. I have leatherworking and skinning and both are pretty useless in terms of goldmaking. I cook a lot also and I have almost all recipes (at least all the one that can be sold for positive goldz event the one from 10.07). I have an alt for transmogs and everything old content related that farms vanilla dungeons and others things (you know, the classic build for farming and selling transmogs). Selling transmogs is really slow but for now its my primary source of income in wow. I started like 3 weeks ago the transmog farm and I've made more than 150K with cheap transmogs and even junk (I still don't understand why they sell that good).
I'm considering having an alt with enchanting and/or tailoring or something very meta for goldmaking. But my point isn't really to say that leatherworking/skinning is pointless : I feel like it is impossible now to sell consumables. When I post any reagent (for exemple awakened ire) I'm alredy cut, the price are going down extremely fast and a profit I could have made is already a lost. There's way to many sellers on the market with the new system : goldmaking doesn't feel like a competition between price and quality but a race for luck. If you post an item when someone is buying it you will sell it, otherwise you're already cut and most of the time cut in price.
I haven't played since early/mid MoP and I started again in late december and I feel like if you haven't been an insane goldmaker since a lot of time you can't start making gold because profits are so low that farming raw goldz looks more relevant and fun than standing 1h at the AH fighting against thousands of sellers for whom will be the first selling their Infurious scales.
I'm looking for tips (I like improving) but also building a discussion about how badly economy is thought and what are the strategies as g*merz to make goldz in better way than just brutally selling everything we have in our pockets and having an army of alts. It's time consuming, not also I like to do others things in my life than just farming the AH, but I like to do the content in wow. I'm not planning to have the goldcap, but my investment in goldmaking/farming isn't that much rewarding.

Michael goes to court with Katherine & Joe. Friday proved to be a difficult day for jurors in the Michael Jackson trial as prosecutors pored over relatively uninteresting fingerprint evidence.
A central part of the prosecution's case hinges on the singer allegedly showing his accuser adult material while at Neverland. Jurors appeared bored through most of the day as they listened to often specialist and seemingly irrelevant material. One alternate juror even fell asleep.
This has been a difficult point for prosecutors to prove, as only one magazine actually contained prints from both Michael and his accuser - and those prints were not even on the same page. An October 2000 edition of Hustler Barely Legal Hardcore was found to contain only Michael's left thumb print on page 54, while three fingerprints from the accuser were found on page 92.
Other fingerprints from the boy were found in one other magazine and also in a calendar, while his younger brother's prints were also found in one magazine. All the boys' fingerprints were found on magazines contained in a briefcase found in a bathroom adjoining Michael's bedroom. Twelve fingerprints belonging to the pop superstar were found on various other magazines.
Lawyers for the singer attacked the evidence, pointing out that the fingerprint analysis was only done months, and even up to a year, after the items had been found. The defense claims that fingerprints from the boy were placed on the magazine when he was asked to identify it during a grand jury hearing
Alicia Romero, who supervises court exhibits, testified that she and a colleague had handled the items without wearing gloves. She said she was only told to use gloves later on but added that everyone else who viewed the evidence had worn gloves.

When you watch the performance of the Jackson 5 at the event, you can see Michael having to hold himself back as to only overshadow his brothers by about 10,000% and not 100,000%. He handles pretty much all of the singing and the camera almost never leaves him.
And then, after the Jackson 5 performance is done and Michael gets the solo spotlight to perform Billie Jean, he moonwalks for the first time.
The crowd erupts. The symbolism of him gliding away backwards . . . across the stage and, really, away from his original family band . . . was unmistakable.

Michael goes to court with Katherine & Joe. Friday proved to be a difficult day for jurors in the Michael Jackson trial as prosecutors pored over relatively uninteresting fingerprint evidence.
A central part of the prosecution's case hinges on the singer allegedly showing his accuser adult material while at Neverland. Jurors appeared bored through most of the day as they listened to often specialist and seemingly irrelevant material. One alternate juror even fell asleep.
This has been a difficult point for prosecutors to prove, as only one magazine actually contained prints from both Michael and his accuser - and those prints were not even on the same page. An October 2000 edition of Hustler Barely Legal Hardcore was found to contain only Michael's left thumb print on page 54, while three fingerprints from the accuser were found on page 92.
Other fingerprints from the boy were found in one other magazine and also in a calendar, while his younger brother's prints were also found in one magazine. All the boys' fingerprints were found on magazines contained in a briefcase found in a bathroom adjoining Michael's bedroom. Twelve fingerprints belonging to the pop superstar were found on various other magazines.

Ok. I am a nerd - I thought that title was funny. But I come to you with a feel good story and wanted to share. Sorry if this is a little long winded!
I've been a Jimmy Eat World fan since I was in 8th-ish grade and heard the Bleed American album. I moved to Hawaii in 2004 as a sophomore in high school and honestly didn't think I would ever see them live. While I've gotten really lucky, not every band comes to play here. Then came 2020 and I was finally, finally supposed to see them. Alas, the pandemic hit and I was crushed. 2.5 years after they were first supposed to play, they rescheduled for not one but two shows in Honolulu! Hooray!
I only bought tickets to the Thursday show, as I knew I'd be going to a concert on Saturday of that week and wasn't sure if I could handle 3 nights in a row. However, I had planned to go to the Thursday show and then re-evaluate. Before I had a chance to do that, the Friday show sold out (which is super unusual - I've rarely seen a show at this venue sell out). Womp womp.
Tuesday morning, as I am walking down the stairs to get a middle of the night snack, I miss a step and land on my ankle. Excruciating pain and I go to the ER. Phew, just sprained, not broken. How the frick am I going to go to a concert like this? I had gone to Dashboard Confessional about 2 weeks before and it was painful enough to stand for three hours uninjured. I ended up borrowing my dad's walker and taking it to the venue even though I had no idea if I would even be allowed in with it! I was and the concert was amazing.
So amazing that I can't bear the thought of not going to Friday's show. I check on Craigslist and there's only two listings. I email them both and hope I hear from them when I wake up. I literally dream about trying to find tickets (how embarassing) that night. No luck - and one of them was selling VIP tickets which I was really, really interested in and regret having not purchased in the first place. I check the original ticket vendor, just to see, and what - they released day of show tickets! I talk to my brother (my concert partner) and he's down to go again. I give it a bit because I really am hoping the VIP re-seller answers, but no luck, and it's getting late. I go to buy tickets and... yep... they're sold out of the day of show sale!
I'm super, super bummed. But my boyfriend hops on Craigslist and points out a posting I didn't see before (pro tip - search all of your local craigslist, not just the tickets section). I message them and they... had just sold them moments before. FRICK. NOT AGAIN. But somehow, there was another listing I missed! I hit it up on my phone and they immediately respond that they are still available and they are essentially BELOW FACE VALUE (what?!). I'm super anxious but the deal gets done and she sends me screenshots of the digital tickets.
We get to the venue and nailed super awesome parking right downstairs. I am trying to get in the door but when I check my messages, only one of the ticket images is showing up in our text message now! Thankfully, the seller responds immediately to my SOS text. Crisis averted. Doors had been open for at least 20 minutes, but when we walk in, there's tons of room. We end up way, way closer than we were the night before - dead center.
I notice the guy next to me had a signed Bleed American vinyl and hit up a conversation with him. Turns out we have a lot of the same musical tastes and now he's my new friend! Later in the show, he introduces me to one of his friends that met up with him.
The show is fantastic, again, and the venue is just packed. I've never seen it like that before. Early in the show, a small group of individuals - including the tallest guy in front of me - were seemingly removed from the venue. I had the absolute perfect view despite only being 5'5."

My new friend's view was a bit obstructed, so I invited him to move in front of me and my brother because we'd still be able to see and I'm a sucker for making sure everyone has like the best time they possibly can. I'd want someone to do it for me if they had the luxury of being able to see still.
They play an encore tonight! Amazing! (They didn't the previous night - booo - rude - /s)
I see my brother looking strangely to my right and I look down. OMG! My new friend's friend is on the ground! Is she hurt? Shit - I see it now - Jim must have thrown a pick and it landed... right in between our two shoes. She picks it up and I am so happy for her. And... she fucking hands it to me! What even?! I was in complete disbelief! My brother had been on the look out for a pick all night too, and he saw it travel towards us, and that's why he was looking that way in the first place. I am so grateful and she basically told me how awesome I was for coming to the show with a wrapped ankle and walker.

I experience joy in my life but I would not consider myself a particular happy person. There are so few times in my life I have truly felt lucky, let alone feel like multiple things went just right for me in the day - let alone week/month/year. But today was one of those days.

I'm following this excellent tutorial by Robert Lange. I don't have pytorch installed in my dev environment, and so I decided to use sklearn's test-train-split and then make a little python generator instead of using the pytorch dataloader to load the mnist data.
I am getting a shape error when I run the batched version of the code in the tutorial with my custom loader. Is it because it's a generator instead of a pytorch dataloader? The error I get is with the accuracy function where it compares the predicted_class and the target_class. It's as though argmax is not grabbing a single value for target_class since I get Incompatible shapes for broadcasting shapes=[(100,), (100, 10)].

So I love using Fire & Ice in my custom modpacks. Everything is awesome, but there’s one aspect I always have problems with: Dragons. While I think they’re awesome and don’t want to get rid of them, I’m not the best player and often find my runs unfairly being halted or slowed down due to them. Often I’ll get pretty far into a world, having settled down with a house, listed my world goals, ect, when a random ass dragon comes in and blows up all of my builds, farms, and chests up. At other times I’ll decide I’m ready to face a dragon, but shortly find I am outmatched and run for my life. This never works because the dragons will end up follow you no matter how fast or how far you go, so all that ends up doing is leading them to my house. Even if I die, they’ll detect where I respawn and then proceed to spawnkill me until I give up. Waiting to respawn doesn’t work either, as the dragon will just sit there for hours. Now, I still think this mod is awesome, including the dragons, but I feel like it’d be a bit more tolerable if the dragons didn’t hunt you down, maybe losing interest or having boundaries if you run away like other mobs in the pack.
So my question is: Does anyone have any tips for configing the mod to be more forgiving? Any ideas are appreciated!

Hello everyone, i was a member of this subreddit once before exactly 2 years ago before leaving it for personal reasons. Mainly to improve and work on my mental health.
I've been struggling with scalp folliculitis for a total of 8 years now. Gram-negative Folliculitis caused by bacteria to be exact. I've went and got treatment by more dermatologists than i can count and naturally i have tried everything roaming around this sub as well.
After suffering one my desperation attacks I've decided to stop all treatment and accept my fate. The Dermatologists have admitted that they have no ideas left.
But stopping all treatments is what has helped me the most! For the past 2 years i went on "No poo" (means no shampoo usage but only water to clean scalp/hair) and it was a miracle. In just the first 3 months it has brought me improvements and relief I've never experienced before. Now 2 years later the itchiness is 95% gone same for the bumps. I still have folliculitis though unfortunately. Here and there i feel a small pimpel that's slightly itchy but i guess that's better than not being able to sleep and scratching your head into a bloody mess.
Due to my increased balding (MPB) i had it easy because I have a buzz cut anyways but stopping any type of shampoo was really the deal breaker to me. I have experimented a lot but every time i use Shampoo again doesn't matter what it is Eucerin, Neutrogena, BP, selesin etc, i suffer under terrible breakouts that only go away after going on no Shampoo again.
The doctors can't explain it. They guess that the constant stripping of oils and sebum prevents my skin from self-healing and this may cause increased breakouts.
Whatever it is. It works and i can live this short life again. I get absolutely no breakouts from dairy or sugar if that's interests someone but i actually did when i was still using treatments, weird right ?
I am NOT folliculitis free nor have i cured it but at least it's manageable. Maybe there's a soul out there that gets help from this.
Good luck and don't give up. I'll probably leave the sub again because constantly thinking about this topic is not good for mental health.

Without a doubt I have been suffering from OCD for many years. Since I'd say 12 years old, extreme rumination, intensely negatively thoughts about myself and about my situation, my appearance, the way i dress, the way i act, the way i move. all intensively negative.
now im 20, i realise that alot of this stemmed from my fathers abuse (he has ptsd, extremely critical), my ocd was an attempt to gain some sort of control in an uncontrollable and abusive enviroment.
I still suffer from ocd to this day, I'm still living at home so that is contributing to it. I feel like the negative thoughts are crippling me from day to day. I want relief, I have heard many stories of people going on anti-depressent medicaiton for OCD and it providing relief.
However, I do believe OCD has it's roots in something very fundamental, and to simply pass off and try to numb these thoughts would be counterintuitive to growing as a person. I think I've realised what it is now, but obsessive thoughts still take over my day. to the point where they are extremely vivid and disturbing.
I want to start taking medication for OCD to see if I can see some sort of improvement in my life. Do any of your have any thoughts on this matter, should I, shouldn't I?
My fear is that it will dull my positive emotions, and my negative emotions and that I will not be able to tap into my intuition anymore, even though it is dark internally for me at the moment, my intuition is also a great source of wisdom.
